With a structured promotion pathway, you may have an opportunity to challenge yourself to be promoted to Store Manager in 6 -12 months. What is GMC? As a GMC, you’ll: Master every facet of retail operations through immersive, hands‑on training in store. Progress rapidly: Demonstrate readiness through bi‑annual assessments to advance to Store Manager. Build a foundation for long‑term growth: Store leadership is your first step toward broader business leadership roles at GU. The Program at a Glance Phase 1: Immersion (0‑3 Months) – Get into GU’s DNA: customer service, store operations, and product excellence. OR Mastering the Foundation – Ready to be GU people Phase 2: Leadership (3‑6 Months) – Leading small teams Training new staff, analyzing top‑selling products. Phase 3: Ownership (6‑9 Months) – Being an executor Planning weekly sales plans and act as a specific time person‑in‑charge independently. Phase 4: Store Readiness (9‑12 Months) – You'll only be on broad operational responsibility alongside your Store Manager. This is more than retail – it's an immersive leadership training where you'll evolve with courage and feel your impact *From the date of journey to one year, you will go through different learning phases. Each phase build upon the previous one and all tasks remain essential throughout the learning phases & future development. Who are we looking for? Passionate retail advocates: You thrive in fast‑paced environments, love fashion, and are driven to deliver exceptional customer experiences. Results‑oriented leaders: You set clear goals, adapt to challenges, and inspire teams to achieve targets. Requirements University graduates in any discipline with under 2 years full‑time working experience. Excellent communication skills in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin.
