Senior Lifecycle Specialist, Employee Relations & Transitions (Taiwan | Hong Kong | Japan) Remote is building a world‑class HR platform that enables businesses to hire, pay, and manage international teams. In this fully remote role you will work closely with our global clients to navigate the complexities of global employment, blending legal compliance, excellent customer service, and process improvement. Key Responsibilities Manage complex employee exits (terminations, resignations, transfers, redundancy) across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring a superior off‑boarding experience for clients and employees. Provide first‑level Employee Relations support, guiding clients through workplace concerns and coordinating appropriate resources. Lead and facilitate meetings with clients and external employees – including workforce reduction consultation, settlement negotiations and administrative hearings. Negotiate positive outcomes in complex terminations, navigating stakeholders with competing interests. Coordinate with payroll, legal, benefits, and other internal stakeholders to complete off‑boarding activities on our HRIS platform. Draft and administer all termination and supplementary documents with precision and confidentiality. Mentor junior team members and serve as an informal escalation point for technical or process questions. Track and monitor ongoing Employee Relations cases, ensuring timely follow‑up and coordination with stakeholders. Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and product development to improve the overall customer and employee experience. Define methods, procedures, and standards for new assignments, exercising judgment and adapting complex techniques. Key Requirements & Characteristics Experience as an HR Advisor or HR Business Partner, with generalist HR competencies across the employee lifecycle. Tertiary qualifications in HR, labour relations, or employment law are a plus. Proven experience in independently managing voluntary and involuntary exits with care, sensitivity, and legal compliance. Strong understanding of employee relations principles, progressive discipline, and workplace investigation fundamentals. Ability to interpret industrial instruments, analyze complex HR issues, and deliver practical solutions and recommendations. Exceptional communication, influencing, conflict management, and negotiation skills. Business‑level proficiency in written and spoken English; additional languages a plus. Business‑level analytical, automation‑driven mindset and problem‑solving agility. High proficiency in record‑keeping and data integrity. Tech‑savvy and comfortable collaborating asynchronously across tools. Ability to work autonomously in an international, remote environment and balance multiple priorities. Proactive, self‑motivated, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
