Overview We’re piloting a new volunteer feature called Tasks — an experimental project that invites experienced professionals to donate time through a flexible, impact‑focused framework. Tasks are designed for professionals with specialized skills who can contribute up to five hours per week to NGOs that apply for their time on a specific request. Responsibilities Share your portfolio and past work references in your application. Fill out your volunteer profile on an online form. Join a 15‑minute briefing call with our team. Connect with NGOs in need via email. Review NGOs’ requests and clarify the scope of work. Decide whether the task is a good fit for you and, if so, complete the requested work. Time commitment varies depending on your availability. Project Details Minimum 5 years of working experience required. Project period: 12 Sep 2025 – 31 Dec 2025. Remote location. Part of the Swire Trust Go‑Givers Program which encourages skilled volunteers to support NGOs in education, marine conservation, and arts. Background Unlike our usual volunteering projects where NGOs list their needs, Tasks are designed for experienced professionals to donate their time by sharing their profile, skills, availability, and preferred time commitment (for example, up to five hours per week). NGOs can then apply for your time with a specific request, such as five hours of graphic design support to create a poster. You’ll have the opportunity to review their application, clarify the scope of work, and decide whether it’s a good fit for you. This pilot will run until the end of 2025, with the aim of testing a new way for volunteers to give back — one that is flexible, impactful, and manageable for you, while also helping NGOs connect with like‑minded professionals who can share their expertise and support.
