Analyst Programmer - App and Solutions Development As an Analyst Programmer/Senior Analyst Programmer, you will be a vital link between our business stakeholders and the development team. This role requires a blend of strong technical expertise in various tools, development, and excellent interpersonal skills to lead requirement gathering and manage application development projects from inception to deployment. Responsibilities I. Client Engagement & Analysis (Mandatory) Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary technical point of contact for internal business users/clients. Requirement Gathering: Proactively conduct user interviews, workshops, and analysis to accurately gather, document, and define functional and non‑functional requirements. Solution Design: Translate business requirements into robust, scalable, and clear technical specifications and system designs. II. Application Development & Project Management Development: Design, develop, test, and implement high‑quality enterprise applications using JS Node and/or .NET C# across full‑stack applications (front‑end, back‑end, and database). Project Leadership (Senior AP Level): For the Senior level, take ownership of application development projects, including timeline management, resource allocation, and quality assurance. System Maintenance: Provide post‑implementation support, troubleshooting, and continuous enhancement for existing production systems. Code Quality: Ensure all code adheres to established standards, best practices, and security guidelines; conduct code reviews. Qualifications Communication: Fluent in Cantonese is a must. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English to interact with technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Analyst Programmer: Minimum of 3 years of experience in application development and systems analysis. Senior Analyst Programmer: Minimum of 5 years of experience, including hands‑on experience leading projects. Required Skills Technical Proficiency (Must have one or both): OR strong professional experience with C#/.NET Core and related frameworks (e.g., ASP.NET MVC/Web API). Client Facing: Proven experience in a client‑facing role with a demonstrated ability to effectively elicit user requirements and manage expectations is a must. Database: Solid experience with relational and/or non‑relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
