Business Matching Assistant (Frankfurt Office) The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) is Hong Kong’s statutory body for promoting Hong Kong’s trade with the world. Its Frankfurt Regional Office is inviting applications for the following position: Business Matching Assistant (on‑site position at our Frankfurt office) Key Responsibilities Handling all kinds of business matching enquiries received in the office and processing them according to Council’s guidelines. Handling business matching enquiries at the HKTDC information counters at trade fairs or promotional events and processing them according to Council’s guidelines. Handling trade complaints, miscellaneous enquiries as well as requests for HKTDC’s services and publications. Establishing, maintaining and improving an effective databank on a continuous basis by constantly updating data, making efforts to expand the existing databank by identifying potential buyers from trade directories and other sources; and conducting DM exercises and screening business contacts before inserting them into the databank in order to keep records clean. Assisting the Business Matching Team to ensure that the databank quality is in good condition and to achieve relevant KPIs set for Frankfurt office. Handling new business matching tasks assigned by office directors. Conducting research and collecting market intelligence for Head Office. Handling other special tasks assigned by office directors. Job Requirements University graduated. A minimum of 5 years’ working experience and solid skills in database/business matching (or similar B2B business) fields. Experience and knowledge of database management will be a plus. Strong business sense to comprehend business needs to identify actionable recommendations. Understanding HKTDC business will be an added advantage. Possess good interpersonal skills and have proactive working attitude with analytical mindset, team spirit and problem‑solving skills. Mature and able to work under pressure. Familiar with MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint. Good communication skills in both written and spoken English and German.
