Resident Assistant Inspector of Works (Electrical & Mechanical) AECOM Asia Company Limited invites applications for a range of Resident Site Staff positions for the works contract for Joint Cavern Development at Anderson Road Quarry Site. The works comprise the construction of caverns and adits for both Reprovisioned Public Works Central Laboratory (PWCL) and New Archives Centre (AC) at Tai Sheung Tok covering about 3.4 hectares; construction of PWCL Building and AC Building at portal and inside caverns, including structure and foundation, building services, ventilation facilities and other associated electrical and mechanical facilities; demolition of the existing PWCL Building at Kai Tak; other related works including utilities diversion and landscaping works; and implementation of environmental mitigation measures and related environmental monitoring and audit works. The works commenced in July 2023 and will take about 72 months to complete. Qualifications Diploma or Higher Certificate from the Construction Industry Council in Hong Kong / Hong Kong Institute of Construction / Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education / Technical Institute / Technical College / Hong Kong Polytechnic University / Polytechnic or equivalent in an appropriate discipline At least 3 years of relevant post‑qualification experience; or At least 5 years of relevant experience inclusive of 1 year of relevant experience as Resident Works Supervisor or equivalent in appropriate discipline in public works projects or those listed in Section 4.5.2 of the RSS Management Handbook; or At least 3 years of relevant experience inclusive of 1 year of relevant experience as Resident Works Supervisor I or equivalent in appropriate discipline in public works projects or those listed in Section 4.5.2 of the RSS Management Handbook. Language Proficiency Level 2 Note 1 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the HKDSEE / HKCEE or equivalent. Application Conditions Appointments will be made on Agreement Term with AECOM Asia Company Limited in accordance with the prevailing Government’s terms and conditions. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The incumbent may be required to work irregular hours, overtime and shifts (including Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays) to carry out supervision duties in Hong Kong, China or any designated workplace when required.
