Responsibilities Assist the Technical Manager in overseeing all tenancy‑related technical aspects of a shopping mall. Key duties include: Addressing tenancy complaints and inquiries related to technical matters. Providing professional comments on fit‑out designs. Managing A&A works, landlord provisions, tenant fit‑outs, and reinstatement works. Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of all relevant regulations, ordinances, statutory requirements, COPs, and national standards to ensure proper handling of technical and A&A works, thereby preventing any potential legal implications. Manage the technical team and contractors effectively, while delivering exceptional customer service to ensure the satisfaction of landlords, tenants, and other departments/stakeholders. Implement proper procurement procedures for all O&M contracts and outsourced works in compliance with company policy. Monitor work standards and contractor performance to ensure full compliance with statutory requirements. Demonstrate proficiency in budget estimation, work/project planning and management, and possess the ability to adapt and remain flexible in a dynamic working environment. Collaborate closely with internal departments, external consultants, clients, and government authorities to ensure smooth execution of projects and compliance with operational standards. Requirements Degree holder in Building Services, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Management and Maintenance, or related disciplines. A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in managing commercial complexes, shopping malls, and A&A projects, with at least six (6) years in senior engineer roles or higher. Possess key attributes and qualities, including: Technical expertise in Building Services Systems and Shop A&A Works. Strong problem‑solving abilities and project management skills. Attention to detail, coupled with excellent presentation and communication skills. Independent, proactive, hands‑on, and committed, with the ability to adapt to change. Resourceful and equipped with excellent negotiation and communication skills in both English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
