Specialist (Identity and Access Management) – In‑house IT Security Role Add expected salary to your profile for insights Our client is a statutory body in Hong Kong with a large and complex IT environment. To support its continuous digital transformation and protect mission‑critical systems, the organisation is looking for a Specialist (Identity and Access Management) to join. Key Responsibilities Drive the design, implementation and ongoing enhancement of the Identity and Access Management (IAM) platform, covering user lifecycle management, authentication, authorisation and access governance for staff and users. Work closely with internal stakeholders to analyse requirements, define IAM policies and standards, and translate them into technical solutions and workflows. Administer and support IAM-related systems and tools (e.g. SSO, MFA, directory services, privileged access management), ensuring security, usability and high availability. Develop and maintain documentation including IAM procedures, system configurations and technical guidelines; contribute to audits and compliance reviews as required. Monitor and fine‑tune IAM processes to strengthen security controls, improve user experience and support new digital initiatives. Provide technical advice, training and second‑level support on IAM matters to IT colleagues and business units. Requirements Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity or a related discipline. Solid hands‑on experience in identity and access management, authentication technologies and access control in medium to large‑scale environments. Experience in higher education or public sector is an advantage. Good understanding of IAM concepts such as role‑based access control, single sign‑on, multi‑factor authentication, directory services and identity governance. Familiarity with relevant security standards, best practices and regulatory / compliance requirements. Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a cross‑functional team. Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
