Hong Kong Operations Director (F&B Industry) Location: Hong Kong Job Purpose Lead and manage all aspects of operations for the Hong Kong branch to achieve revenue and profitability targets, standardise store operations, drive team capability development, and ensure high-quality new store openings and ongoing store performance. Key Responsibilities Set operational targets and annual business plans for the Hong Kong office; drive and ensure the achievement of revenue, profit and other business KPIs. Develop and implement standardised store operating procedures and systems to ensure consistent, process-driven operations across all outlets. Plan, manage and control talent development for the department; ensure effective, orderly supervisory training and improve the capability and efficiency of on-duty managers; promote a learning-oriented organisation. Oversee day-to-day store operations across the region; perform market analysis based on local consumer behaviour and competitor activity; provide regular reports on store performance. Convene regional meetings to address QSC performance, sales uplift initiatives, profitability action plans and operational analyses. Lead new-store development: ensure construction quality, monitor project timelines, and guarantee on-time openings. Conduct QSC inspections and store audits. Establish emergency response procedures and handle customer complaints and unexpected incidents professionally. Coordinate and manage relationships and daily interactions between your department and cross-functional teams. Requirements Fluent in Cantonese. Minimum 10 years’ operations management experience in the restaurant/F&B industry, with at least 3 years in a similar senior role. Experience with large multi-unit restaurant chains is highly preferred. Prior regional manager or director experience at brands such as McDonald’s or KFC, or senior operations experience at major Cantonese/Chinese quick-service or casual-dining groups (e.g., Maxim’s, Café de Coral) is an advantage. Strong commercial acumen with proven ability to analyse P&L and operational reports, identify improvement opportunities and lead post-mortem reviews. Excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills, with a track record of end-to-end planning and execution. Excellent team leadership, communication, negotiation and customer-service orientation.
