They are seeking a talented Backend Engineer to join their dynamic team and contribute to the development of scalable, high-performance backend systems. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs. Optimize database queries and ensure efficient data storage/retrieval. Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, and QA teams to deliver seamless features. Implement unit and integration tests to ensure reliability and scalability. Contribute to architectural decisions and technical discussions. Stay updated with emerging technologies and bring innovative ideas to the team. Minimum Qualifications 3+ years of industry experience shipping production-grade software. Strong knowledge and passion for backend languages such as GoLang, Ruby, Python. Expertise in at least one SQL data store (PostgreSQL, MySQL) with solid understanding of database design and SQL. Hands-on experience with Git/GitHub for version control. Experience with full stack integration and unit testing. Ability to write both DAMP and DRY code, with a deep understanding of software development principles and the creativity to know when to break them. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, across all organizational levels. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other IT-related disciplines. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Linux server administration and command line interface (CLI). Familiarity with Redis, NoSQL databases, RESTful APIs. Cloud platform knowledge: AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Heroku, Azure. Understanding of distributed systems. Experience with containerization and orchestration tools: Docker, Kubernetes. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
