About the Role You will be working in a fast-paced organization that promotes cross-functional collaboration to ensure that we are offering competitive products that are conducive to our revenue and long-term goals in a timely manner. Your main responsibilities include: Your Key Responsibilities Include: Technical pricing / repricing for the full suite of our insurance products and services Hands-on support forpricing andquotation for individual life and health products pricing/repricing for new / existing B2B products, Regularly formulate, review, and improve our pricing basis/philosophy Develop and maintain pricing knowledge in products, assumptions, and benchmark setting Conduct experience, assumptions, and basis review to ensure that our process and pricing philosophy is robust and of high integrity Be the subject matter expert, and provide technical advice and portfolio insights to support product development initiatives, and review of reinsurance arrangements The success of this role will be measured by: overall health of our insurance business speed and quality of the quotations team members' growth and development About you You are a high achiever who thrives in a fast-paced and empowering environment and enjoys both deep technical work and cross-team collaboration, and possesses the following skills and qualifications: 6+ years of experience in life/health insurance products pricing Strong product knowledge in individual and group life and health products Strong communication skills in delivering business considerations and using non-technical jargon Ability to work independently and meet deadlines on time with quality Excellent command of spoken and written English, fluency in Chinese will be a plus Proficient in Microsoft Office, in particular, MS Excel; Knowledge of Python and/or programming is an advantage Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Studies or other related disciplines Good progress in actuarial examinations Energetic personality and good team player - we move fast and we leave no one behind We Offer Apart from a great career path and an opportunity to do good and do well, we also offer: Competitive package Flexible work arrangement Benefits include medical/ dental coverage and wellness programs Employee discounts Fun, co-operative, and flexible startup culture Weekly sharing sessions and regular social gatherings Excellent learning opportunities with Professional Development Sponsorship About Bowtie We are the first licensed virtual insurer (虛擬保險公司) in Hong Kong.
