Bags & SLG Specialist/Quality Specialist - Senior Level - HighEnd Fashion Our client, a globally recognized fashion brand, is seeking an experienced Fashion Bags and Small Leather Goods SLG Specialist/ QA Specialist to lead technical and quality assurance functions for their bags and SLG collections. This role combines deep technical expertise with hands‑on collaboration across design, development, and production — ensuring every product meets the highest standards of durability, performance, craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. What you’ll be doing Partner with Hong Kong and global headquarters teams to provide technical guidance and risk assessments, aligning design intent with production capabilities from prototype to pre‑production Assess factory capabilities and deliver targeted QA/QC training and coaching while conducting in‑line and final product inspections Conduct in‑depth technical analysis and present actionable reports to management and stakeholders, implementing corrective measures when needed Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance processes, especially regarding the use of advanced materials and technologies Manage and maintain QA/QC standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and compliance Oversee physical and chemical testing processes to validate product durability and safety Monitor and evaluate factory and supplier performance for compliance with international social audit standards Travel across Asia and to headquarters to liaise with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams, ensuring alignment on product quality and process integrity What we’re looking for 8+ years of solid experience in quality assurance, design, manufacturing, or similar roles — particularly in bags and SLG categories Strong product technical knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, quality control and best practices for bags and leather goods Thorough understanding of industry standards, regulations, and quality requirements Experience in luxury or high‑end product environments with EU/US fashion brands is highly desirable Diploma or above in Quality Studies or related disciplines; professional certification in quality management is a plus Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, detail‑oriented, with the ability to identify and resolve complex quality issues Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results on time Fluent in English (spoken and written); proficiency in Mandarin or Cantonese is an advantage Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Positive working attitude, adaptable, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work independently or as part of a team to deliver results Willing to travel across China and overseas Immediate availability / short notice candidate is highly preferred What we offer 5‑day work week, competitive salary packages will be offered to the right candidates.
