Heritage Manager

Responsibilities Oversee the administrative operations of the department, including managing budgets, expenses, financial records, forecasts, departmental filing and regular reports. Plan and organize heritage exhibitions and interpretive installations across the site, monitor the implementation processes, streamline workflows and manage resources, timelines, budgets and risks. Collaborate with other departments and external parties on the upkeep of permanent heritage exhibition spaces and interpretive installations across the site to ensure the public presentations are in good condition and there is an adequate flow of information. Manage the documentation of heritage artifacts under the company’s custodianship, correspond with an external storage company for offsite storage and proper care of the artifacts. Maintain relationships with external vendors, service providers and stakeholders to support business needs. Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements in all projects and activities. Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and integrity. Supervise staff and foster a positive and productive work environment that promotes teamwork, communication and professional development. Requirements Degree in Business Administration, Art and Cultural Management, Heritage Studies, Social Sciences or relevant disciplines. Minimum of 8 years of managerial experience in the management of galleries, exhibitions and cultural projects with knowledge of budget management, financial planning and expense tracking. Excellent organizational and problem‑solving skills. Strong team management and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
