You will direct the financial operations of the family office and its affiliated entities. Your principal responsibilities shall include: Responsibilities Formulating Financial Strategies : Develop comprehensive plans to safeguard and augment the family's assets. Oversee internal controls and maintain full compliance with Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) requirements (Types 4, 6, and 9), as well as all relevant legal frameworks. Leading Specialized Teams : Supervise teams in finance, accounting, and legal functions. Ensure exemplary execution across accounting, financial reporting, cash flow management, budgeting, and taxation. Directing Group Financial Operations : Manage finances for all group companies. Evaluate investment opportunities, mergers, acquisitions, and initiatives; assist in the direct investments portfolio encompassing fintech, real estate, equities, and fixed income; construct financial models; assess project feasibility; perform due diligence; and facilitate corporate transactions. Providing Strategic Guidance : Report to the Board and partner with senior executives on overarching strategy. Emphasize capital planning, financing arrangements, and investment decisions, incorporating environmental, social, and governance (ESG) considerations and philanthropic alignments. Facilitating Business Development : Assist operational units in identifying funding sources, preparing budgets, and evaluating the economic viability of prospective endeavors. Fostering Stakeholder Relationships : Cultivate robust connections with banks, auditors, and external partners. Spearhead capital-raising initiatives through banking institutions or investors to support growth imperatives. Qualifications Educational and Professional Credentials: A Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Banking, Finance, Accounting, or a related field, augmented by recognized designations such as HKICPA, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent. Professional Experience: A minimum of 15 years in corporate finance, with preference for roles in asset management or SFC-regulated entities (Types 4, 6, and 9). Demonstrated achievements in transactions, regulatory compliance, and wealth preservation. Regulatory and Jurisdictional Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of Hong Kong Financial Reporting Standards (HKFRS), taxation, Company Ordinance, Listing Rules, and SFC regulations; comparable expertise in the People's Republic of China (PRC), British Virgin Islands (BVI), Cayman Islands, encompassing compliance, taxation, and customs protocols. Personal Attributes and Competencies: Exemplary integrity, diligence, and collaborative orientation, complemented by proactive initiative and leadership acumen. Proficient strategic analysis and commercial insight. Superior proficiency in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese, both verbal and written.
