Join to apply for the Section Head, Consumer Products role at Hong Kong Trade Development Council Responsibilities Formulate, plan and execute effective online and offline promotional activities to create new business opportunities for Hong Kong SMEs with market focus on mainland China and ASEAN. Lead a team to achieve promotional objectives. Build strategic alliances and relationships with industry key players and trade associations through proactive engagement. Coordinate with HKTDC's mainland and overseas branch offices, and collaborate with external parties such as fair organisers, industry institutions, associations, media, agencies, service vendors etc. Oversee daily operations, including management reporting, budgeting, and administrative and HR-related matters etc. Requirements University graduate with at least 10 years of solid managerial experience, preferably with sizable organisations in event management/organisation, public/corporate relations, or sales and marketing. Experience in digital marketing and/or e-commerce in Mainland China and/or ASEAN a definite advantage. Strong understanding of Hong Kong economy and China trade. Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua. Mature with superior sales, marketing, and communication skills. Strong team leader with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills. Self-motivated, outgoing, and good in project management. Innovative and flexible, with the ability to manage multi tasks under time and resource constraints. Remuneration and Benefits The successful candidate will be offered a two-year contract with prospects for renewal upon expiry. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience, plus an appropriate contract-end gratuity. Medical benefits and annual leave will be offered.
