Responsibilities Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for Futures and Derivatives trading backend systems, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability at global scale. Own and enhance core backend components — including order management, margin and risk engines, pricing/valuation models, and clearing & settlement systems — to support seamless and secure trading. Partner with Backend Engineers, Quant Developers, Trading System Architects, and DevOps to translate complex trading requirements into scalable technical solutions. Lead the full product lifecycle, from feasibility assessment and system architecture to rollout, monitoring, and iterative optimization. Analyze system metrics, trading flows, latency, and error patterns to proactively detect bottlenecks, strengthen resilience, and improve user experience. Ensure backend systems align with evolving regulatory standards, exchange‑level protocols, and market best practices, keeping infrastructure future‑ready. Requirements Strong understanding of Futures, Perpetual Swaps, and Derivatives trading products, with direct exposure to backend trading system architecture or infrastructure components. 4+ years of product management or trading systems experience, ideally within quantitative trading firms, fintech, or high‑frequency/low‑latency trading environments. Solid quantitative or technical background — degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field strongly preferred. Ability to interpret trading models, margining logic, and risk methodologies, and translate them into robust product requirements. Exceptional analytical and problem‑solving skills; capable of distilling complex market and system challenges into structured, data‑driven solutions.
