The Role of The Club Manager As a Club Manager, you own the performance of a business unit. This includes club revenue, member retention, brand reputation and building a team that can execute at a high standard, without constant hand-holding. What you are responsible for: Operations Leadership & People Experience Community Reporting & Administration 1. Operations & Facilities Most importantly ensuring the clubs core facilities are running smoothly, if for any downtown these are quickly addressed and rectified Ensuring high safety across the club, identifying any potential hazards or issues early and fixing them Ensuring quality maintenance and cleaning is accounted for and reporting up quickly of any challenges Ensuring teams are delivering on the opening/closing procedures completed smoothly. Maintain highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety across all recovery areas (ice baths, sauna, hot bath, café, locker rooms). Ensure general upkeep of the property and any damages are quickly addressed Ensure compliance with health, safety, and local regulations. 2. Leadership & People Meet with new recruits for chemistry sign off, propose new candidates and support interviews needed Build a culture of community, positivity, and accountability across the team supporting you Being a successful roster ensuring quality people are spread across the quality shifts Ensure strong leadership on team group chats, being a highly communicative and open leader to support their growth and keep the teams aligned Develop talent to be ‘A players’ and ensuring the bottom talent is being cycled through the clubs Manage the 90 day onboarding and training for all new team members, ensuring the SOP is followed Work with HR to provide clear, frequent team coaching and review Ensure oversight of the cafe rostering and team hires Being a significant figure on key shifts with high traffic volumes to support team operations 3. Member’s Experience Ensure every guest enjoys a welcoming, consistent, and high-quality recovery experience - ensuring the team deliver on this. Monitor member feedback (in person, surveys, reviews) and action improvements, report to management on any early issues or opportunities to improve Ensuring a smooth, consistent onboarding for new members Resolve member issues or complaints quickly and professionally Manage any crisis properly, ensuring a smooth and effective de-escalation of any incident and reporting (same day) 4. Community Be the face of the club — greeting, engaging, and building relationships with members (warm hospitality) Being an active participant at in the community group chats, ensuring you are informing community of any issues affecting their experience, educating them when opportunities arise and polling on decisions when applicable Collaborating with the Community Manager to ensure effective output across community engagement Participate in at least 1 community event each month Following up with all new members on trials, or newly purchased to introduce yourself and provide a friendly contact Follow up with any cancellations due to any issues they have with the club experience 5. Reporting & Administration Ensuring proper management of daily cash-up, POS reconciliation, and receipts Responsible to manage an approved wages, laundry and power budget (management to provide guidance here) Ensuring effective communication and management of group initiatives, partnerships and marketing collaborations Reporting the monthly club Status Report Maintain rosters, timesheets, and payroll inputs. Keep accurate records of incidents, maintenance, and compliance Provide speed of communications and responsiveness to upper management (response time maximum of 2 hours during operational hours) All applications applied through our system will be delivered directly to the advertiser and privacy of personal data of the applicant will be ensured with security. #J-18808-Ljbffr
