Part-time Lecturer (2026 Spring Term) (PG) (A&SS) Hong Kong Metropolitan University Li Ka Shing School of Professional and Continuing Education Closing Date: 10/Dec/2025 3:59:00 PM Responsibilities Conduct lectures and tutorials Write lecture notes, design and mark assignments and examination scripts Perform other related teaching and administrative duties Qualifications CHIN 2007ACF / CHIN A206CF “實用生活粵語”: Master’s or higher in Chinese Language and Literature, Linguistics or related subject; teaching experience preferred. CHIN 2008ACF “實用進階粵語”: Same requirement. CHIN 8108ACF/CHIN A808CF “作家選講”: Same. GAPG 8004AEF Society and Culture in the Era of Globalization: Higher degree, preferably doctorate, in Politics or related discipline; teaching/professional experience preferred. PSYC 8003AEF Psychology for Decision-Making: Higher degree, preferably doctorate, in Psychology or related discipline; teaching experience preferred. SOCI 8006AEF Criminal Justice and Selected Crime Issues: Higher degree, preferably doctorate, in Sociology, Criminology or related discipline; teaching experience preferred. Duration of Appointment The appointee will be required to work evenings or Saturday/Sunday on campus from January 2026 to June 2026 for a maximum of 17 hours per week. Terms and Conditions Successful candidate will be appointed on a temporary part‑time contract. Benefits will be provided in accordance with statutory provisions.
