Application Developer (Full Stack, Perm), Up to 35K Our client is a well-known private institution and they are seeking a skilled Application Developer to join their team and contribute to building scalable, high-performance applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in API development, web application design, and database management , with the flexibility to work across multiple programming languages and frameworks. Responsibilities Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs with secure authentication (OAuth 2.0, JWT). Build and maintain web applications with modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue.js, or Angular). Develop backend services and ensure smooth integration with databases and APIs. Manage relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and leverage NoSQL (MongoDB) where applicable. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, scalable solutions. Use Git (GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket) for version control and team collaboration. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum 3 years of experience in application development. Strong knowledge of:API Development & Integration: RESTful APIs, JSON/XML handling, authentication standards (OAuth 2.0, JWT). Frontend Development: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+)/TypeScript, React/Vue.js/Angular. Backend Development: Node.js, Python is a plus. Database Management: MySQL, PostgreSQL; MongoDB is a plus. Version Control: Git platforms. Proficiency in mobile application development (Dart, Flutter) is an absolute advantage. Experience working in an international or cross-cultural environment is a plus. Demonstrated ability to gather, analyze, and interpret user requirements. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team. Familiarity with agile development practices is a plus. Fluent in English is a MUST, Cantonese and Mandarin are optional but an advantage.
