Supervisor, Finance, HK & MC role at Herbalife Overview To support country finance lead and coordinate with GBS controllership team to ensure Company governing under local statutory requirement, corporate policies and all reporting requirement from Corporate, Regional and external auditors. How You Would Contribute To support country finance lead on coordinating day to day finance operation, identifying and tracking any issues/ risks to ensure timely follow up and addressed the issues with GBS controllership team and business users. What’s Special About the Team Interacts with all levels throughout organization locally and internationally. Supervisory Responsibilities To prepare countries’ responsible Journals/ BS reconciliations/ One Stream Data Analysis reports submission. To assist country finance lead on month-end closing financials review, key financial highlights, FS analysis reports preparation to ensure the reports meet the requirement of corporate and regional office. To assist country finance lead and closely work with GBS controllership team on the daily financial operations to ensure operation efficiency and escalation for any urgent or critical issues to minimize the interruption to business. To prepare data analysis/ report tracking on supporting management decisions on identifying areas for improvement of internal control and ensure financial integrity of the operations. Including but not limited to secondary review on GBS processed transactions’ quality and progress tracking. To get familiar with corporate policies, on-going review and tracking key accounting transactions to support country finance lead on assessing the accounting transactions to ensure full compliance with corporate policies. To coordinate and closely work with local operation teams from time to time to ensure any potential financial implications be identified and accounted timely. To prepare quarterly USGAAP RE reconciliations To prepare bi-weekly cashflow forecast report.and support documentation administration related to treasury activities/ tasks. To assist country finance lead on preparation of year end audited statutory accounts, coordinate with stakeholders on schedule preparation/ supporting retrieving and liaise with auditors. To assist country finance lean on performing tax computations and preparation of corporate tax returns and other taxation statements for HK and Macau offices, coordinate with stakeholders on schedule preparation/ supporting retrieving and liaise with Tax advisors. Country/ regional/ global project implementation support – new process flow and system implementation follow up and tracking. Any other ad hoc tasks assigned by managements. Qualifications Education Bachelor’s degree holder in Accounting & Finance or equivalent qualification. Finalist of qualified accountant with ACCA/ other professional associations or equivalent qualification. At least 5 years of relevant accounting experience with minimum 3 years in supervisory role. Working experience in international audit firm is a plus. Strong understanding of US GAAP and SOX. Knowledge and exposure of ERP system such as Oracle and SAP is a bonus. Strong Excel skills. Candidate with less experience will be considered as Senior Financial Analyst. Language Skills / Reasoning Ability Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese. Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. Possess good business acumen. Confident and independent. Able to work under pressure.
