Assistant Manager, Operational Risk Management Join to apply for the Assistant Manager, Operational Risk Management role at CTF Life. What the role is Support the Associate Director of Operational Risk on managing and implementing the Enterprise Risk Management Framework, in particular, ensuring the effective functioning of operational risk management for the Company. Support to maintain, enhance, and implement the operational risk management framework, including policies, procedures, and tools to identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate operational risks. Conduct regular risk assessments and reviews to identify potential operational risks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies. Monitor and report on key risk indicators and ensure timely escalation of significant risk issues to Risk Committee. Key support for preparing regular reports on operational risk management activities to relevant management committees and Board-level Risk Committee. Collaborate with various departments to ensure that operational risk management practices are integrated into business processes and decision-making. Support the implementation of new operational risk project/initiatives. Support to provide training and awareness programs to enhance the understanding and management of operational risks across the organization. Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to operational risk management. What are we looking for Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Risk Management, Insurance, or Accountancy. Degree or above in other Business-related discipline may also be considered. Professional qualifications in accountancy (e.g. HKICPA/ ACCA etc.) or risk management are preferred. At least 5 to 6 years of working experience in operational risk management within the insurance industry or consultancy firm. Strong knowledge of operational risk management frameworks, tools, and techniques. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Influencing ability is an advantage. Excellent analytical skills coupled with a pragmatic approach to problem solving. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to operational risk management. Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Power BI will be advantage. Strong writing and presentation skills in both English and Chinese. Proficiency in Putonghua is preferred. The final position level will be determined based on the hiring manager's assessment.
