Role and Team The Engineering (Tech) Team is responsible for all Feedzai product development. We build the next generation of tools to catch fraud in real time with a machine learning first approach. You will join a fast-paced, open, collaborative environment that encourages experimentation and continuous learning. Responsibilities Provide technical leadership for the Data Orchestration product line, balancing hands-on development with experimentation and prototyping. Ensure long-term architectural integrity while driving tactical improvements with PMs, EMs, and developers. Lead cross-cutting engineering initiatives, uphold product quality standards, and mentor other technical roles. Partner with Customer Success, Security, Sales, and Marketing to shape technical direction and improve engineering skills and consistency across products. Support the hiring process by shaping technical evaluation standards and mentoring engineers in interviews. What You Will Do (Day to Day) Technical Management: provide technical vision for the Data Orchestration product, combining hands-on development with prototyping, and maintain architectural integrity while driving improvements. Lead cross-functional planning and collaboration to align engineering efforts with business goals. Mentor engineers and contribute to building a strong engineering culture and practices. Qualifications Experience in creating and operating data engineering projects or products with related technologies (e.g., Scala, Snowflake, Redshift, Airflow). Experience on fast-moving projects with evolving processes and structures. Solution-oriented mindset with a hands-on, get-it-done attitude. Team player focused on elevating team performance. Strong experience building cloud-native SaaS systems and mentoring engineers. Preferred/Valued Skills Cloud-native SaaS experience and data engineering backgrounds. Ability to design and operate scalable, high-volume data orchestration solutions and data integration from multiple sources. Ability to lead a community of engineers through mentorship and example.
