PR & Marketing Executive Founded in 1996, the Broadway Cinematheque (BC) is dedicated to promoting the merits of arthouse cinema and to contributing to Hong Kong’s thriving cultural landscape through films. We pride ourselves on bringing the most inspiring and thought‑provoking films to audiences, a mission which has drawn acclaim from local and international media alike. We also aim to work with local social and educational institutions to foster film literacy among young people and marginalised groups. We are now looking for a dynamic and creative PR and Marketing Executive. This position focuses on the promotion of BC programmes, the implementation of publicity and marketing campaigns for arthouse films featured at BC, and maintaining active engagement with the press, cinephiles and the community. Key Responsibilities Devise and implement PR campaigns for arthouse films, programmes and festivals. Manage BC’s social media platforms and attain maximum coverage and engagement in both traditional and digital media for arthouse films on release at BC, and for events being held there. Establish and maintain media and KOL partnerships, prepare press releases and field media enquiries. Follow and assist the press in interviews of visiting directors and talents. Provide support for promotional campaigns and events at BC. Ideal Candidate Profile University degree with 1‑2 years of working experience in promotion‑related areas (Applicants with more experience will be considered for a senior position). Experience in films and film‑related events is preferred. Good command of spoken English, Cantonese and Putonghua. Excellent writing abilities in Chinese and English, with proven experience across various communication platforms. Familiarity with social media platforms and creative use of such portals. Experience in video recording and editing for social media platforms. An outgoing personality and ability to work with people from various ages and walks of life. Good time‑management skills, and a willingness to work under pressure and during non‑office hours.
