An AV Engineer designs, installs, and maintains audio-visual systems for places like offices, schools, and venues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design & Install:
  • Create AV system plans based on client needs.
  • Set up and test equipment like projectors, speakers, microphones, audio matrix, video matrix, LED wall and control systems.
  • Knowledge in Crestron and QSC, and other AV products.
• Troubleshooting:
  • Fix technical issues with AV systems.
  • Perform regular maintenance to keep systems running smoothly.
  • Work with clients and other professionals to integrate AV systems.
  • Train clients on how to use the systems.
• Documentation:
  • Keep records of system designs and maintenance.
  • Write reports on system performance.

Qualifications:

• A degree or higher diploma in a related field (like Engineering or Electronic Engineering).
• Experience with AV technology and equipment.
• Relevant certifications (like CTS or Crestron programming) are a plus.

Skills:

• Knowledge of AV equipment and software.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to work alone or in a team.
