Responsibilities Propose buying plan with new merchandise which in line with the business strategies. Liaise with vendors on terms and conditions, pricing and purchase ordering issues. Manage the retail price of merchandise within the assigned categories. Proactively source new products and comply with established quality standard guidelines. Cooperate with the marketing team to facilitate brands/ products promotion activities as well as design and establish the guidelines for Visual Merchandising. Monitor inventory level, sales performance, damage, and loss ratio to propose improvement plans. Investigate the complaints and propose remedial actions to prevent the possibility of any recurrence. Requirements University graduate with a minimum of 8 years of merchandising experience in retail, FMCG, wine & spirits is preferably. Holder of WSET Level 3. Strong business acumen with excellent negotiation and analytical skills. Proactive, strong interpersonal and communication skills and able to work independently. Able to handle multiple tasks under a tight schedule and rapidly changing environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy. Strong numerical analysis and problem-solving skills. Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese. Good command of PC proficiency including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, etc. We offer a competitive remuneration package and good prospects to the right candidates.
