Network Architecture

On behalf of our esteemed client, a leading technology-driven enterprise, we are seeking a Network Architecture / Senior Network Manager to join their network team (approximately 4-5 members). This role reports to the Network Lead/ Manager and involves technical-level responsibilities in daily operations, project implementation, and network optimization. The successful candidate will contribute to the stability, scalability, and security of the client’s enterprise network infrastructure across multiple business units. Network Architecture (80-110K) Responsibilities Drive end-to-end delivery of high-impact network initiatives, ensuring timely execution and alignment with business objectives. Define and evolve the enterprise network architecture , specifically leveraging CCIE and HCIE expertise to enhance automation, security, and scalability. Allocate resources effectively across multiple strategic projects, ensuring optimal use of CCIE and HCIE skill sets. Ensure architectural decisions align with IT governance, cybersecurity controls, and operational standards. Provide regular updates to senior leadership, addressing concerns and maintaining transparency in project execution. Manage the procurement process for projects, including gathering network requirements, preparing tender documents, evaluating proposals, and ensuring compliance with contracts. Oversee budgets for projects and new initiatives, with a focus on expenditure control. Identify, assess, and manage IT risks associated with network projects effectively. Cultivate relationships with internal stakeholders and vendors to support network architecture initiatives. Enhance project documentation, including IT assets, configurations, network diagrams, procedures, and expectations, to reflect best practices in network architecture. Keep teams informed about emerging network technologies and best practices, continuously evaluating and recommending improvements in network infrastructure and operations. Lead the development and enforcement of network architecture and design standards, ensuring consistency, scalability, and alignment with enterprise-wide technology strategies. Drive governance efforts to validate architectural decisions and promote best practices across all infrastructure projects. Requirements University degree in Information Technology or a related discipline. Minimum of 15 years’ experience supporting IT network projects, with at least 5 years in a management or supervisory capacity. Certifications such as CCIE and HCIE are highly preferred , alongside CISSP and CISA. Proven experience in network architecture and strategic project delivery, utilizing CCIE and HCIE knowledge. Extensive knowledge of advanced network technologies, including ACI, VxLAN, SDWAN, cloud networking, and network security solutions. Demonstrated success in leading mission-critical network projects, including design, testing, upgrades, migrations, and automation of network operations. Exceptional attention to detail and strong problem‑solving capabilities. Excellent analytical, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively across cross‑functional teams and stakeholders in large organizations. Proven ability to unify and lead teams with diverse skill sets, fostering motivation and inspiration. Self‑motivated and capable of working independently, with a strong focus on delivering results. Familiarity with tools such as Terraform, Ansible, SolarWinds, JIRA, and Confluence. Senior Network Manager (55-70K) Responsibilities Lead large-scale government and enterprise network implementation projects and design initiatives. Prepare comprehensive test plans, implementation plans, and migration strategies. Configure and install a variety of network devices and services, including WiFi, firewalls, routers, switches, load balancers, bandwidth controllers, and QoS. Conduct network maintenance and system upgrades, including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations. Monitor system resource utilization and engage in capacity planning to ensure optimal performance. Provide support and troubleshooting to swiftly resolve network issues. Operate within established configuration and change management policies, ensuring awareness, approval, and success of changes made to the network infrastructure. Collaborate with vendors and other IT personnel to facilitate problem resolution. Perform tests to identify and address network vulnerabilities. Requirements University degree in Computer Science or a related field. At least 4 years of hands‑on experience in network implementation. Certifications such as CCNA, HCIP , or higher (CCIE & HCIE preferred), CISA, and CISSP. Strong knowledge of networking protocols, including IPSEC, VRRP, and OSPF. Hands‑on experience with firewalls, monitoring tools, and network diagnostic and analytics tools. Experience in computer network penetration testing and associated techniques. Proficient in spoken and written English. Candidates with more experience will be considered for Senior Network Engineer or Assistant Manager Network roles. #J-18808-Ljbffr
