Our client is an European Safety testing laboratory specializing in consumer product testing. (Toys Testing) Responsibilities: In charge of conducting safety examinations and mechanical tests on toys according to European Safety Standards (EN 71-1, EN 71-2 and / or EN 62115). Responsible for maintenance of testing equipment and update calibration. Childcare Article Testing Responsibilities: In charge of conducting mechanical/physical safety tests & conformity assessments on childcare articles (strollers, cots, baby walking frames,) according to the relevant European Safety Standards. Involved in the development and maintenance of testing devices. To the follow-up of analyses with local customers. Requirements: Higher Diploma / Degree holder in product testing, mechanical engineering, physical measurement or equivalent. 1-3 years’ experience in the same field of activity is required. Familiar with the use of laboratory measurement and testing equipment. Fluent in both spoken and written English and Cantonese. Good in Mandarin is a plus. Knowledge of the French language is a plus. Responsible, meticulous, independent and able to work under pressure.
