We are looking for talented candidates to join our food / non-Food merchandising team. S/He will be responsible to handle the assigned categories & vendor portfolio to maximize income. Role & Responsibilities Undertake operational management of the category and implement the category strategic plan Ensure high performance of the category and achievement of business targets and objectives including cost control, sales, profit margin and service level Manage the daily operation including stock management, SKU management, display management and people management Analyze and review the category performance, identify areas for enhancing sales and profits and provide recommendations. Identify market trends and conduct market research to cope with market changes and challenges from competitors Work closely with different internal parties to develop layout guidelines to ensure excellence in product presentation Capabilities Required Degree holder with at least 5 years relevant experience in food merchandising or FMCG industry Strong knowledge of food culture, culinary history, food product and market trend Good analytical skills, able to work independently as well as under pressure Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese With ability to multi-task, know how to prioritize Proficiency in PC applications Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Category Manager 5-day work Benefits Discretionary Bonus Medical and Life insurance coverage Staff and Family shopping discount We offer attractive remuneration package, training opportunity and excellent career opportunities to the right candidate.
