Responsibilities Report duties and responsibilities to Director of Engineering and Duty Engineer/Foreman. Supervise subordinates to complete assigned tasks according to the agreed repair and maintenance program. Be responsible for managing installation, maintenance and repairs projects of the hotel. Coordinate with contractors in carrying out routine maintenance. Assist in providing training for staff, evaluating their progress and performance periodically; ensure that they work in the most practical, skillful and safe manner. Assess safety and health risks in the workplace and take necessary precautions. Check the daily progress of repair and maintenance work orders. Read the Engineering Log Book daily and take corrective action as required. Attend the daily Departmental Briefing if required. Work shift duty, overtime and emergency on‑call when required. Report duty under typhoon signal or in rainstorm conditions, and stay in the hotel for standby if required. Complete any other relevant projects and duties assigned by superiors. Qualifications and Experience Diploma or Certificate in engineering field. Certificate of Registration of Electrical Worker in Grade A and Grade B (preferred Electrical Heated Boilers & Heat Pump). Certificate of Construction Industry Safety Training. Certificated worker in confined space. Certificate in Fire Fighting course (preferred). Certified Worker for Temporary Suspended Working Platform (Gondola). At least 2 years in air‑conditioning repair and installation, with hotel operation experience preferred. Desired Personal Qualities Responsible, reliable, initiative, mature and hardworking. Fluent in Cantonese, English and Putonghua (preferred). Able to work independently.
