Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong SAR China Vintech Innovation Technology Limited Full time

VinTech's primary focus is to provide B2B software solutions for financial institutions, aiming to deliver an engaging experience to their end customers. Our platform covers all major traditional asset classes, including stocks, futures, funds, and forex, as well as the rapidly evolving virtual assets. The VinTech team consists of experienced industry professionals who possess a comprehensive understanding of the dynamic financial markets. With a clear vision of how emerging technologies will shape the industry, we have seamlessly integrated state-of-the-art technologies like generative AI and Web 3 into our investment software solutions. This integration equips brokers with optimal preparation and tools to navigate foreseeable changes in the industry. About the role We’re seeking a hands-on Technical Project Manager to deliver mission-critical fintech platforms spanning brokerage, trading, and digital assets. You will lead end-to-end execution—scoping, solution design, testing, launch, and post-go-live optimization—while aligning engineering, product, compliance, and operations. A strong grounding in financial workflows is essential, with a significant emphasis on Web3/crypto, tokenized real-world assets (RWA), and virtual asset trading. Key responsibilities Program planning and execution: Build outcome-driven roadmaps, milestones, and release plans; manage scope, dependencies, and critical paths across multiple squads. Cross-functional orchestration: Align engineering, product, QA, compliance, operations, and marketing; clarify ownership, unblock issues, and drive on-time delivery. Requirements and solution design: Translate business needs into epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, and systems interfaces; maintain end-to-end traceability. Technical governance: Run standups, sprint rituals, risk/issue reviews, and steering committees; deliver crisp, data-backed status updates to stakeholders and executives. Documentation excellence: Enforce documentation standards for designs, decisions, runbooks, and change logs; maintain version control and audit-ready artifacts. Quality and release management: Coordinate test strategies (unit/integration/UAT), performance/security testing, and cutover plans; ensure robust post-release monitoring. Process improvement: Drive retrospectives, delivery metrics, automation, and playbooks that improve reliability, throughput, and developer productivity. Digital asset initiatives (Web3/Crypto/RWA): Lead integrations with blockchains, L2s, and custody providers; coordinate smart contract releases, token listings, and bridge/oracle/on-chain data pipelines; oversee audits for DeFi/RWA protocols and exchange/venue integrations. Regulatory and risk alignment for virtual assets: Partner with Compliance/Legal to embed controls (KYC/AML/KYT/KYA, travel rule, market abuse surveillance, licensing constraints) into crypto/RWA workflows across jurisdictions (US, HK, SG). Market and ecosystem engagement: Manage third-party vendors (custody, market data, exchanges, liquidity providers), support community/partner communications for token features and RWA launches, and coordinate incident response across CeFi/DeFi venues. Requirements Experience: 5 years or above in technical project/program management within fintech, brokerage, trading, payments, or digital assets; demonstrated delivery of crypto/Web3 or RWA initiatives. Web3/crypto/RWA fluency: Working knowledge of L1/L2 protocols, wallets/custody (MPC/HSM), smart contract lifecycles, token standards (ERC-20/721/1155), oracles/bridges, DeFi primitives (DEX/AMM, lending, staking), and tokenized asset flows (issuance, redemption, on/off-chain reconciliation). Virtual asset trading: Understanding of exchange/venue connectivity (FIX/WebSocket/REST), order types, market structure, liquidity and slippage, settlement and funding for crypto/derivatives (perps/options), and exchange risk controls. Technical proficiency: Comfortable reading specs, discussing architecture and trade-offs, and partnering with engineers; familiarity with APIs, data models, microservices, and CI/CD. Financial domain depth: Solid grasp of brokerage workflows (account opening, OMS/EMS, trade capture, clearing/settlement, corporate actions, reconciliations) and market data integrations. Compliance and regulatory awareness: Experience embedding KYC/AML/KYT/KYA, travel rule, sanctions screening, and reporting obligations; knowledge of multi-jurisdictional regimes for virtual assets and securities. Delivery toolkit: Proficient with Agile/Scrum/Kanban, Jira/Confluence (or equivalents), Git-based version control, structured risk/issue management, and roadmap reporting. Quality mindset: Experience coordinating QA/UAT, test plans, performance/security testing, and release checklists; strong incident and post-mortem practices. Communication and stakeholder management: Clear, concise communicator who can align executives, product, engineering, risk, and operations; adept at vendor and partner management across CeFi/DeFi ecosystems. Education and language: Bachelor’s in CS/IT/Engineering/Finance or related field (advanced degree a plus). Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua).
