4 days ago | Be among the first 25 applicants We are seeking a skilled Business System Analyst to join a dynamic IT Digital Team with our Insurance client. This role focuses on a high‑impact project involving the revamp of our Point of Sale (POS) system, alongside enhancements to our mobile app, website, and digital application platforms. As a key contributor, you will bridge business requirements with technical solutions to drive digital transformation, improve user experiences, and streamline insurance processes. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with stakeholders, including business units, IT teams, and end‑users, to gather, analyze, and document requirements for the POS revamp, mobile app, website, and digital application initiatives. Conduct gap analysis between current systems and desired future states, identifying opportunities for efficiency and innovation in insurance workflows. Develop detailed functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and use cases to support development and testing phases. Facilitate workshops, interviews, and requirements elicitation sessions to ensure alignment on project goals. Work closely with developers, designers, and QA teams to translate business needs into technical designs and validate solutions. Support user acceptance testing (UAT), defect resolution, and change management to ensure seamless implementation. Monitor project progress, mitigate risks, and provide regular updates to the IT Digital Team leadership. Qualifications and Skills 5+ years of experience as a Business System Analyst, preferably in the insurance industry Proven track record in digital projects, including POS systems, mobile apps, websites, and digital application development. Strong understanding of insurance processes, such as policy issuance, claims handling, and customer onboarding. Proficiency in requirements management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Visio) and agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban). Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas to non‑technical stakeholders. Experience with user experience (UX) design principles and digital transformation initiatives is a plus. Familiarity with integration technologies, APIs, and cloud‑based platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) preferred.
