My client is a globally leading digital assets market-maker, now seeking a proactive Trader in Hong Kong office. Responsibilities Partner with quantitative researchers, developers, and fellow traders to enhance and optimize existing strategies while designing and implementing new trading models. Drive continuous improvements across trading systems and operational processes. Monitor and interpret market trends and real‑time data to analyze, guide, and dynamically adjust trading strategies. Proactively manage portfolio risk with a disciplined understanding of risk‑reward dynamics. Identify and explore new market opportunities and pricing inefficiencies through rigorous data analysis and market microstructure expertise. Optimize trading algorithms and infrastructure to maximize performance and operational efficiency. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of proven, profitable trading experience, ideally within D1 and/or options markets. Intrinsic passion for trading and an entrepreneurial drive, consistently seeking greater challenges and ownership. Outstanding communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and collaborate effectively. Exceptional analytical and quantitative abilities, with expertise in extracting meaningful insights from large, complex datasets. Proven capacity to make swift, decisive decisions in high‑pressure, fast‑paced environments, operating successfully with minimal supervision. Proactive and innovative in identifying new trading opportunities, with a strong desire to explore uncharted research directions. Strong programming proficiency (e.g., Python, SQL) for data analysis, strategy development, and automation. A balance of competitive spirit and team dedication, committed to continuous improvement and collective success.
