Production Planner

The Production Planner is responsible for monitoring and optimizing the production process to achieve smooth and efficient operations. You will play a key role to collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure seamless material transactions and traceability throughout the supply chain. Also, you will lead the implementation of data-driven solutions to enhance end-to-end transparency and meet regulatory and customer requirements. Key Responsibilities Consolidate, analyze and validate the material transaction documents and certifications. Assist to manage and lead the traceability program and solutions in collaboration with purchase department and suppliers to enable the U.S. Customs reporting and product transparency disclosures. Understand and support the traceable fingerprint from fiber, yarn, weaving/dyeing to finished fabric, e.g. certifications and material transaction documents. Develop, manage, and drive efficient filing and tracking systems to maintain data integrity. Ensure optimal traceability methodology to meet regulatory and customer requirements. Analyze production requirements based on sales orders, forecasts, and production resources to determine the most cost-efficient utilization. Support superiors to develop and maintain the master production schedule to align with sales forecasts, inventory levels, and production capacity. Collaborate with sales, procurement, and manufacturing teams to align production plans with customer requirements. Assist to monitor and adjust the production schedule in response to changes in demand, material availability, or equipment downtime. Explore, identify and implement process improvements to streamline production planning and control, optimize efficiency, reduce waste, and maximize throughput. Qualifications and Skills Diploma or above in Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in material traceability, or a similar role, production planning, manufacturing operation, preferably in apparel or textile industry. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production planning principles. Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and traceability requirements. Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and process improvement methodologies. Problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to identify and implement solutions. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Adaptability to changes in production requirements and the ability to respond quickly.
