We are seeking a motivated and technically minded Assistant Building Services Engineer to join our dynamic team. You will support the design, coordination, and delivery of Mechanical, Electrical, and Public Health (MEP) systems for a variety of exciting projects. Key Responsibilities Assist Senior Engineers in the design and development of building services systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, etc.). Prepare detailed drawings, schedules, and specifications using CAD (AutoCAD). Help with site surveys, inspections, and the monitoring of installation works to ensure compliance with design specifications and regulations. Attend project and client meetings, taking notes and preparing minutes. Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and architects to ensure integrated design solutions. Assist in the preparation of technical reports, feasibility studies, and tender documentation. Stay updated on relevant industry standards, Building Regulations, and best practices. Essential Skills & Qualifications A degree (BEng) in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. A strong desire to develop a career in the building services industry. Basic understanding of mechanical and/or electrical building systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with AutoCAD is essential. Excellent numerical and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and manage your own tasks. A humble, willing-to-learn attitude and excellent attention to detail. A proactive communicator who listens first and seeks to understand the perspectives of others. Naturally collaborative, enjoying the process of working towards a shared goal with diverse colleagues. Able to build trust and rapport with people from different technical and non-technical backgrounds. A problem-solver who sees challenges as a team opportunity, not a departmental hurdle.
