We are seeking a skilled R&D Engineer to join a reputable company in the manufacturing industry. This role involves contributing to product development and innovation, ensuring the successful delivery of engineering projects. Shipping hundreds of millions of zero‑defect parts each year, they combine high‑level precision with efficiency and remain a trusted strategic supplier behind many of the planet's most iconic devices. Description Lead end-to-end new product introduction (NPI) for metal components (CNC, MIM, stamping, die‑casting, anodizing, PVD, nano‑molding, etc.). Collaborate directly with global brand customers and their industrial design teams during the earliest concept phases to co‑develop breakthrough metal finishes, structures, and hybrid material solutions. Develop and validate new manufacturing processes (e.g., micro-texturing, diamond‑cut edges, liquid‑metal bonding, sustainable anodizing) that push cosmetic and functional boundaries. Drive cross-functional alignment (Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, Program Management) to achieve NPI timelines while meeting flagship-level cosmetic and reliability standards. Protect intellectual property through patent filings and maintain strict confidentiality of customer projects. Profile Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Manufacturing Engineering or related field. 1+ years of hands‑on R&D / Advanced Engineering experience in metal components for consumer electronics. Expert knowledge of advanced metal processes: high‑precision CNC, MIM, die‑casting, surface finishing, bonding technologies, and cosmetic defect mechanisms. Strong DFM/DFA mindset with experience influencing industrial design teams at world‑leading OEMs. Proficiency in 3D CAD (NX or Creo preferred), simulation tools (Ansys, Moldflow), GD&T, and tolerance stack‑up analysis.
