Position Description Reporting to Head of Section (Airframe & System) to provide solution for technical problems raised by customers and maintenance staff. Liaison with aircraft manufacturers with respect to design and technical support matters. Providing technical assessment of Type Certificate Holder / component Service Bulletins and other manufacturers' advisory literature, as well as that of the regulatory authorities. Assisting Production departments when necessary in preparing technical reports / documents related to all aspects of overhaul and maintenance of aviation systems. To provide supervision to junior staff. What You’ll Do Provide evaluation, design and improvement of base maintenance operation procedure as required. Evaluate and assess capability on potential structural modifications and keep Production informed. Provide technical support and solutions for structural and interior Technical Assistance Request (TAR) handling to the Maintenance Division. Assist Head of Section (Airframe & System) in the preparation of analysis related to hangar support work performed in maintenance. Assess necessary modifications on customer aircraft for which HAECO has technical responsibility. Develop and verify structural modification, repair schemes and repair instruction within the terms of the Design Approval issued to HAECO. Assist Production departments when necessary in preparing technical reports related to all aspects of maintenance matters. Assist mitigation of the safety and sustainability risks of COE projects. What You’ll Need Minimum 4 years’ relevant experience in aircraft maintenance or related discipline. Experience in airline engineering is an advantage. Experience preparing aircraft structural drawings/repair/engineering orders. A tertiary education from a recognised university with a major in aeronautical, mechanical or other relevant engineering disciplines. Advanced computer software knowledge and sound engineering drawing skills with the aid of AutoCAD and/or Solidworks. Sound business acumen and strong project management skills; experience in aircraft projects is an advantage. Strong interpersonal skills and good teamwork. Ability to work under pressure with good decision making. Proficiency in both spoken and written English. HAECO Group is an equal opportunity employer.
