Psychology Specialist (Course Instructor) Master degree or above in Psychology (esp. Counselling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Educational Psychology, I/O Psychology) or other related professionals; OR Bachelor degree in psychology/ social work/ counselling or related disciplines with extensive work experience in teaching and designing psychoeducational courses Excellent general understanding in the subject of psychology, and further in depth insight in the sub-field you intend to teach Skills & Ability Course Design. You will need to design courses with clear learning objectives and deliver long-term personal insight and growth, and be mindful of these objectives and strive to deliver them throughout the course Public speaking. You will need to tune in to the audience’s needs and wants, and employ a wide range of skills such as storytelling, group activity and debriefing to maximise learning effectiveness Leading Experiential Learning Activities. Incorporating profession/topic‑specific activities into the course goes beyond mere knowledge transfer. It helps students integrate insight and acquire adaptive behavioral strategies. Be open-minded and adaptable to feedback from students and us to improve the course quality. Collaborate with us to resolve teaching difficulties. Strive to deliver the best course experience for the trust that the students have vested on you for personal growth. Uphold the professional integrity and be mindful of ethical issues as a psychology practitioner, including but not limited to benefiting clients, mitigating risks/harm, privacy, dual relationships and potential conflict of interests. Job Duties Design and teach interactive psychoeducation courses for 6 sessions covering topics including psychology, counselling, mental health, personal growth and communication skills, and any related topics Candidates will also be invited to conduct some other workshops for our member community, for example, counselling workshops and book sharing clubs Salary in hourly rate will be offered.
