SOC Analyst

My client is a Globally renowned IT consulting firm. Currently they're in search of a high calibre SOC specialist. The SOC Analyst will be responsible for monitoring, detecting, analyzing, and responding to security incidents using a variety of tools and techniques. This role is critical in protecting client's digital assets and ensuring the integrity of our IT infrastructure. Monitor security alerts and events from SIEM and other security tools. Investigate and triage potential security incidents. Perform initial incident response and elevate as needed. Analyze logs from firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and other systems. Conduct threat hunting and proactive analysis to identify vulnerabilities. Collaborate with IT and other departments to remediate threats. Maintain documentation of incidents and response actions. Support continuous improvement of SOC processes and playbooks. Required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field. 2-5 years of experience in cybersecurity or IT operations. Familiarity with SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel). Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, and other network protocols.
