Assistant Vice President, Treasury and Markets Middle Office

Assistant Vice President, Treasury and Markets Middle Office Ensure robust governance frameworks, including adherence to HKMA regulations, Basel III requirements, and internal policies. Liaise with internal stakeholders and 2LoD to ensure seamless collaboration and client-focused outcomes. Ensure compliance with HKMA guidelines, anti-money laundering (AML) regulations, and other relevant regulatory requirements. Coordinate with compliance to address regulatory changes and audits. Collaborate with different teams of Treasury and Markets to design, develop, and launch new treasury products. Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, client demands, and opportunities for product differentiation. Oversee the end-to-end product development process. Ensure products are scalable, compliant, and aligned with client needs. Ensure all new products comply with HKMA regulations. Work closely with compliance teams to obtain necessary approvals. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in treasury, markets, or financial product development in the banking industry. Deep understanding of treasury products (e.g., FX, fixed income, derivatives), risk management frameworks, and financial regulations. Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and treasury management systems. Strong knowledge of HKMA regulations, Basel III, and international financial standards. Familiarity with AML and KYC requirements. In-depth understanding of the financial markets, including FX, interest rate, and fixed‑income markets. Fluency in English and Chinese is required.
