Senior Product Developer

Be part of the Product Creation team to lead the end-to-end journey of new products—from concept and sourcing to commercialization. You will collaborate with global factories and internal partners to deliver exceptional products on time and at the optimal cost. Key Responsibilities Own the development of production specifications and manage the sampling process to ensure the final product aligns with brand vision, design integrity, quality, fit, function, target margins, and production feasibility. Serve as the decision‑making authority for product-level production readiness. Lead the development process to achieve commercial viability by collaborating with internal cross‑functional partners (Merchandising, Product Management, Design, Technical Design, Sourcing) and external suppliers. Ensure the accurate and timely flow of information throughout all development stages. Create and maintain precise product specifications, including Bills of Materials in the AA system, track the "buy‑ready" status, manage costing, and oversee embellishment development. Advise on construction, material, and trim selections to enhance product performance and meet brand quality standards. Autonomously manage a complex workload across multiple calendars and projects. Actively participate in design and sample reviews, as well as key departmental meetings. Conduct ongoing research into new technologies, fashion trends, and industry innovations. Perform thorough development reviews of samples, communicating feedback and requirements clearly. Proactively identify at‑risk products, troubleshoot potential issues, and implement solutions to ensure successful commercialization. Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of consumer safety regulations, environmental standards, and quality requirements, with a particular focus on China GB regulations. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Clothing & Textiles or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of product development experience, preferably within international sport or lifestyle fashion brands. Proven experience across both Sport Lifestyle/Lifestyle Fashion and Performance Apparel categories. Highly organized with excellent time‑management skills. Creative, with a genuine passion for product and innovation. Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills. Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities related to product design, construction, and production. A self‑directed professional capable of managing individual workload and priorities in line with team objectives. Proficient in MS Office and Adobe Illustrator. Willingness and ability to travel internationally as required. Experience in the China & APAC markets is a strong advantage.
