Business Development Manager / Senior Manager Add expected salary to your profile for insights Position: Business Development Manager / Senior Manager Reports to: Director of Strategy & Operations, Head of Retail Sales & Operation The Madison Group was founded in 1996 in Hong Kong as a company representing premium lifestyle brands like bulthaup, Sub-Zero & WOLF, Rimadesio, Viabizzuno, Wittmann. Through the years, The Madison Group has collaborated with the region's leading property developers on residential projects that have become the benchmark of luxury of living. Today, the group has operations and retail outlets in Singapore, Shanghai, Beijing and Hangzhou. Its newly launched concept store, House of Madison, is an expression of its retail ambitions. Launched in October 2014, House of Madison is a groundbreaking retail experience by The Madison Group, a global company representing luxury lifestyle brands. The sprawling three-storey, 12,000 square foot space serves as a retail playground for tinkers and tinkerers, artists and artisans exploring the intersection of design, gastronomy and the art of expressive living. To cope with the company's expansion and market demands, we are now looking for high calibre to join our winning team. Responsibilities: Work with management and sales teams to identify opportunities and promote our brands with the goal of driving business growth Explore, identify and develop relationships with architects and designers, trade partners and end customers Develop a clear understanding of the industry, the company and its brands, sales opportunities and client requirements Identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities and be able to articulate about company programs and promotion internally and externally Be the front person liaising with new and potential customers at all levels Monitor showroom’s operation and maintain showroom neat and tidy Perform ad-hoc tasks as required by supervisors Requirements: At least 3 years of prior sales, marketing, business development, interior design and/or hospitality experience Solid experience in B2B or B2C environment, preferably in interior design, luxury retail, lifestyle or hospitality industry Sensibility for and/or keen interest in interior and architectural aesthetics and functionality Previous experience with digital marketing and promotion campaigns is considered an advantage Team work, self-motivated and able to work under pressure Outgoing, proactive, customer-oriented and willing to learn fast Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills Fluency in English and Cantonese; good command of Mandarin #J-18808-Ljbffr
