Business Analyst – Finance Transformation Projects (HK$35K - $42K) (Ref. No.: 27485) We are seeking a Business Analyst on behalf of an Insurance Company to support the Reinsurance Integration Project. Job Duties Collaborate with Finance, Actuarial, IT, and Reinsurers to analyze current reinsurance workflows and identify integration opportunities across systems such as Access, Alteryx, and Oracle. Support the implementation of streamlined accrual and settlement processes, including validation of calculation logic, policy data, and reinsurance parameters. Assist in the development and testing of new reinsurance tools, including data transformation workflows and reporting automation. Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines, particularly around settlement timeliness, data privacy, and reporting accuracy. Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams to gather requirements, document processes, and facilitate UAT (User Acceptance Testing). Prepare and maintain project documentation including business requirements, process maps, and audit trail records. Assist in compiling reinsurance reports for internal committees and risk department. Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Actuarial Science, Accounting, or related field. Professional certification such as CPA, Agile Project Management will be an added advantage. Min. 3 years of experience in business analysis, preferably within insurance or financial services. Strong understanding of reinsurance operations / actuarial processes / financial reporting. Comfortable working with data systems and performing reconciliations and validations. Experience with data tools such as Alteryx, Excel, and Oracle; familiarity with DataLake and Power BI is a plus.
