In this pivotal role, you'll blend hands‑on technical expertise (approx. 60%) with strategic leadership (approx. 40%), guiding a team of 3+ developers while driving the architecture, delivery, and innovation of our cross‑platform mobile applications. As a key influencer in our fast‑paced Construction and Facility Management (FM) IT sector, you'll ensure our B2B SaaS and PaaS products deliver seamless, offline‑capable experiences powered by cutting‑edge technologies like Digital Twin, Smart City, and AI. What You'll Be Doing? Technical Leadership (Hands‑On): Architecture & Strategy: Architect the long‑term vision for our React Native (Expo) mobile stack, including decisions on tools, modules, and best practices for scalable, cross‑platform iOS/Android development. Code Quality & Review: Champion code excellence through rigorous reviews, enforce architectural standards, and resolve the most intricate technical challenges in mobile performance, offline functionality, and device integrations. Complex Problem Solving: Design and implement solutions for high‑impact issues, such as Bluetooth/NFC integrations, crash recovery in production, and local‑first data synchronization across environments (DEV, UAT, PRD). Execution: Stay deeply involved by coding critical features, proofs‑of‑concept, and optimizations, leveraging Expo for rapid iteration and FCM for robust push notifications. People & Process Management: Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 3+ React Native developers, fostering collaboration, skill‑building, and a culture of innovation in mobile‑first projects. Project Planning & Delivery: Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to scope sprints, allocate resources, estimate efforts, and deliver features on time while managing full SDLC across DEV, UAT, and PRD environments. Hiring & Growth: Spearhead recruitment for mobile roles, conduct performance evaluations, and craft individualized career paths to build a high‑performing team. Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the go‑to expert for mobile technical matters, translating complexities into actionable insights for non‑technical leaders and ensuring alignment on priorities like app stability and user engagement. What We're Looking For? 7+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 5+ years focused on mobileapp development using React Native in production environments. 3+ years of hands‑on experience leading and mentoring teams of 3 or more developers, includingguiding technical decisions code reviews, and career development in a mobile‑first context. Deep expertise in Expo for React Native development, including Expo CLI, EAS Build, and Expo modules for streamlined cross‑platform (iOS/Android) workflows. Proven track record in full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) management for mobile apps, from requirements gathering and design to implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance, with strong experience managing multiple environments (DEV, UAT, PRD) including configuration, branching strategies, and automated deployments. Mastery of React Native fundamentals, including component lifecycle, hooks, navigation (e.g., React Navigation), state management (e.g., Redux, MobX), and performance optimization for mobile‑specific challenges like battery usage and offline support. Strong understanding of mobile platform specifics: iOS (Swift/Objective‑C integration) and Android (Java/Kotlin bridges), including app lifecycle, gestures, and device APIs (camera, location, sensors). Expertise in implementing push notifications using FCM (Firebase Cloud Messaging) for reliable cross‑platform delivery, including handling foreground/background states, token management, and user segmentation. Experience designing local‑first architectures for offline‑capable apps, leveraging local storage solutions (e.g., AsyncStorage, SQLite via Expo) with robust synchronization mechanisms to ensure seamless data availability and conflict resolution. Proficiency in production‑grade error handling, including PRD crash monitoring, recovery strategies (e.g., error boundaries, graceful degradation), and tools like Sentry or Crashlytics for real‑time alerting and post‑mortem analysis. Experience with modern mobile testing strategies, including unit/integration tests (Jest, Detox), end‑to‑end testing, and CI/CD pipelines tailored for mobile (e.g., Fastlane, GitHub Actions for Expo). Proficiency in TypeScript for type‑safe React Native codebases, along with asynchronous programming, API integration (REST/GraphQL), and secure data handling in mobile environments. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across cross‑functional teams (designers, backend, QA) and present technical trade‑offs to stakeholders.
