Administrator & PA to Principal - Sha Tin Junior School At Sha Tin Junior School we strive to enable all in the learning community to flourish. Responsibilities Provide secretarial and administrative support (filing, diary management, minutes, correspondence, etc.) Answer telephone calls, distribute messages, handle enquiries and follow up. Arrange schedules, meetings, venues, and take and transcribe minutes. Operate the reception desk, manage walk‑in, telephone and email inquiries. Oversee the life pass/MTR system, staff and student registers, and assign lift buddies. Track attendance registration for teaching staff. Coordinate business travel, meetings, expenses and petty cash arrangements. Update and manage ENet and timesheet systems. Assist with school events such as Music and Speech Festival. Collaborate with HR and Finance Manager on purchase requisition, visitor paperwork and procurement processes. Maintain stock levels of stationery, snacks, cleaning consumables and fixed/non‑asset registers. Prepare reports and information for Principal, teaching staff, HR, Finance Manager and Office Manager. Support preparation of parent communications, labels and information packs. Qualifications Relevant experience in an administrative or reception role. Competent PC skills – MS Excel, MS Word, Google Docs/Sheets/Forms/Slides. Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills. Ability to prioritise workload, work independently and use initiative. Friendly manner towards staff and students. Adaptable to changing situations and keen to learn new skills. Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin an advantage. Previous experience in a school a advantage. Applicants must be a permanent Hong Kong resident or possess a valid visa to work in Hong Kong.
