One of our key clients in the Financial Services space is looking for a senior Corporate Finance specialist who will engage with senior leadership to devise and execute critical initiatives that enhance the organization's growth and financial objectives, particularly in M&A involving Financial Institutions Group (FIG) clients within the investment banking sector.

This role will initially be a contract role for a period of 1 year.

What does the role involve?

  • Partner with senior management to shape and execute the corporate strategy, focusing on plans for an IPO and exploring both organic and inorganic growth avenues.
  • Assist in business planning and facilitated financing activities, encompassing equity offerings, bond issuances, and hybrid transactions.
  • Conduct detailed analyses of company profiles and perform extensive market research; create business cases, financial models, and valuations.
  • Prepare regular and ad hoc stakeholder reports, including materials for the board, investment committees, and shareholder communications.
  • Provide critical ongoing support following transactions to ensure successful integration and performance.
  • Clearly present M&A, financing, and other strategic opportunities to the Board and senior management.
  • Lead project teams, coordinating efforts from inception to completion with both internal and external members.
  • Work alongside legal teams to draft and review transaction documents, contributing essential insights on commercial terms.
  • Participate in the company's initiatives related to insurance-linked securities, such as reinsurance sidecars and catastrophe bonds.
  • Support various ad-hoc strategic initiatives as assigned by management.
