Position Overview As the Director of Banking Operations & Transformation Strategy, you’ll be the voice of the banking industry inside one of the fastest‑growing voice analytics and Agentic AI startups in financial services. Your mission: help shape how global banks use AI to transform client conversations, operational controls, and compliance workflows. You’ll act as the bridge between large‑bank operational realities and cutting‑edge technology—informing how our product connects to real workflows in risk, sales, and service contexts. This is an opportunity to leverage your deep banking experience to influence an entire product roadmap, working side‑by‑side with data scientists, engineers, and designers on transformational use cases. Key Responsibilities Translate how communication, onboarding, sales, and fraud‑related workflows actually operate within large banks into actionable design inputs for product development. Advise on systems integration, data governance, API access, and IT change management constraints to ensure enterprise readiness. Partner with banks’ digital transformation, operations, and surveillance teams to design AI‑assisted workflows that automate routine reviews and enhance staff efficiency. Collaborate with PMs to create blueprints, integration pathways, and prototype validation criteria for new Agentic AI features. Represent the “voice of the bank” during design sprints and client‑facing product discussions. Support enterprise onboarding projects by helping the customer integration team understand large‑bank architecture nuances. Professional Experience 8–15 years in large banks, with focus on operations transformation, risk management, RegTech, contact center technology enablement and change transformation. Experience implementing surveillance, conduct, or workflow automation systems. Adept at bridging operations, IT, and compliance lines. Hard Skills Strong process design and mapping expertise (BPMN, swimlane, etc.) Familiarity with data architecture, access, and integration models within banks Practical understanding of customer communication management and surveillance tooling Ability to assess feasibility and risk of technology adoption in regulated environments Soft Skills Strong communicator, excellent at “translating” between functional and technical teams Empathetic change leader familiar with internal bank governance complexity Entrepreneurial curiosity with the ability to work in a fast‑paced, iterative environment Gravitas to engage senior stakeholders at large financial institutions Success Indicators Higher success rates in initial product pilots due to operational‑fit validation.
