About the job Assistant Manager - Finance & Accounting Scope of Work Manage day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards; Prepare/review monthly and quarterly reporting, and annual financial statements, identifying trends and variances to provide insights to the management; Assist in the budget cycles for annual budgeting and development of Annual Business Plan for submission to the Government and shareholders; Provide management with recommendations and implement strategies to drive reporting efficiency; Manage relationships with financial institutions, auditors, and other key stakeholders; Ensure compliance with all laws and regulations, including tax filing, compliance, and audits; and Undertake other ad hoc assignments as required. Qualifications and Requirements Degree in Finance & Accounting, Business Administration and other relevant disciplines. Member of HKICPA or equivalent with sound knowledge in accounting standards. 5 years' relevant financial accounting, audit or commercial experience. Proficiency in month-end closing and financial reporting with attention to details and accuracy. Strong analytical mind and multi-tasking skills. Ability to identify problem and suggest for improvement. Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines. Familiarity with ERP systems and financial reporting tools. Experience in system development and implementation is preferred. Good communication and interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams.
