Global Mining Investment Manager

Job Title Global Mining Investment Manager Responsibilities Develop and implement the company’s global investment and M&A strategy, identifying target countries and projects that align with our resource reserves. Conduct in-depth research on mineral ore supply and demand trends and price movements to provide robust data support for investment decisions. Lead end-to-end project management, including screening, due diligence, valuation, structuring, and negotiation, while collaborating with legal, financial, and technical teams to evaluate resource reserves, ESG compliance, and political risks. Identify and assess risks related to overseas investment policies, legal frameworks, and environmental regulations; develop mitigation strategies and ensure compliance with Chinese regulatory requirements. Build and maintain strong relationships with local governments, mining institutions, and Chinese overseas missions to facilitate successful project implementation. Monitor project operations, optimize mining plans, and develop effective exit strategies to maximize returns. Requirements Bachelor’s degree or higher in Geology, Mining, Finance, Law, International Business, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in mine investment, M&A, or project management, with a preference for candidates from international investment banks, Big 4 consulting firms, or leading mining companies. Strong understanding of mine production operations, international transaction practices, deal structuring, and ESG compliance management. Proficiency in financial modeling and mining valuation methods. Excellent cross-border negotiation skills (English is the working language; knowledge of Spanish, French, or Portuguese is a plus). Ability to undertake frequent overseas travel and thrive in a high-pressure management environment. Benefits Competitive salary package. Social Insurance.
