To cope with our expansion, we are looking for an energetic and passionate candidate to join our chemical team. What you will be doing? Assist supervisor to monitor technical staff for daily operations of the analytical chemistry laboratory Carry out routine chemical testing according to SOP Monitor instrument performance and maintain daily operations to meet testing turn‑around time and deadline of projects Develop and implement new test programs, methods, instrumentation, and internal procedures according to regulatory and client requirements Ensure the laboratory is operated in accordance with the requirements of ISO 17025 Report work progress, deficiencies and malfunctions to supervisor Identify and report any potential problems within the analytical chemistry laboratory to supervisor You need to be Degree or above in Chemistry or related subject At least 5 years solid experience in operation of a chemical testing laboratory; experience in supervisory level is an advantage Solid experience working in ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory is a must Familiarity with operating and maintenance of analytical instruments, i.e. GC‑MS/MS, LC‑DAD/MSMS, ICP‑OES, AAS, UV‑Vis, etc. Experience in R&D projects for chemical testing is preferred Self‑motivated, independent, good problem‑solving skills, and good communication Good organization and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish relationships both internally and externally Proficiency in spoken and written English Less experience will be considered as Assistant Chemist To learn more about Hohenstein, please visit: We offer competitive salaries and benefits to the right candidate.
