Core Responsibilities Manage and support the critical Airport Flight Information Display System (FIDS) and its infrastructure within the airport setting. Design and implement a new system architecture to facilitate the upcoming expansion of Terminal 2 and the Third Runway Concourse. Oversee and maintain system software, middleware, custom applications, and network infrastructure. Collaborate with software vendors to enhance FIDS functionality, including performing System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure new features align with operational needs. Work closely with end-users to translate operational and business requirements into clear technical specifications. Provide timely support for system incidents and conduct root‑cause analyses to resolve issues. Participate in regular project meetings to discuss incidents, change requests, and system enhancements while suggesting potential improvements. Assist in the development of IT systems that support the airport's expansion plans for the third runway. Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and configuration issues on end‑user devices. Required Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree or diploma in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline. At least 8 years of IT experience, including a minimum of 5 years in requirements analysis, project planning, system implementation, and ongoing support throughout the project lifecycle. Significant hands‑on experience in administration of Linux/Windows, web technologies, database management, and server reliability to ensure optimal system performance. Demonstrated skills in project management and team leadership. Additional knowledge in application development, shell scripting, messaging protocols, and networking is advantageous. Proactive, responsible, and possesses strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with a capacity to work effectively under pressure. Excellent proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese. Willingness to provide support outside normal office hours for emergencies or scheduled maintenance.
